First Nations/Aboriginal Client Services

KNV has an extensive First Nations accounting assurance and consulting practice. Our goal is to provide high quality professional services at a reasonable cost to our clients. Through the assistance of technology, our firm currently acts for Bands and other First Nation organizations throughout the Province and through our membership in DFK International, these services are readily available throughout North America. 

KNV provides a comprehensive range of services for First Nation clients including:

• Auditing services including special, statutory and/or compliance audits associated with contribution and cost sharing agreements

• Taxation including corporate, personal, income tax as well as GST, HST and FNT

• Computer training in either classroom groups or one-on-one
• Gaming branch issues including record keeping, accounting, reporting issues and assistance with applications - bingos, lotteries, casinos

• Negotiating, monitoring, reporting and auditing as required
• Personnel recruitment and staff development
• On-site accounting and record keeping advice
