Ron graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1986 with a concentration in finance and obtained his C.A. in 1991. Ron achieved numerous awards in his university and C.A. studies. He was a tax specialist at an international accounting firm before joining NCCG becoming the firm's tax partner in 1996. NCCG recently merged with the KNV team and Ron continues to lead the firm's Vancouver tax practice.

Ron has extensive experience in estate planning, the sale of businesses, employee buy outs, corporate reorganizations, research and development incentives, U.S. tax and First Nations tax matters. Ron has also been involved in many successful tax appeals..

Ron enjoys sporting activities including golf, water skiing and ice hockey. He is also an avid motorcyclist.

Ron is married with two children and is an active participant in his children's various activities..
