Larry obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1978. In 1980, he obtained his CA designation and began specializing in income tax with Canada's largest public accounting firm. He also completed the two year in-depth tax program through the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Larry worked full-time in income tax for 16 years. During that time he helped his clients with estate planning, corporate reorganizations, income tax audits, appealing reassessments and personal and corporate income tax planning.

Larry was admitted to partnership with Nordahl Craig Cummings and Gares (a predecessor firm to KNV) in 1990 and was the firm's income tax partner until 1996. His clients include private owner managed businesses in many industries, professionals and individuals requiring Canadian and US personal income tax, audit and accounting services.

Larry has two adult children and lives happily with his spouse in Burnaby. Leisure time involves golf, skiing and travelling.
