Gordon L. Baldwin, CA

Gordon was born and raised in North Vancouver and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Commerce degree in 1976. He articled with Touche Ross & Co. (a predecessor of Deloitte) and obtained his CA designation in 1978. He spent six years as a senior tax specialist with Thorne Riddell & Co. (a predecessor of KPMG) in various manager positions and left for a position in the fishing industry where he became the Vice President of Finance. In 1992 he started his own accounting practice and merged with NCCG in 2000.

In the course of Gordon's professional career, he has gained a broad perspective of the needs of clients including, auditing, accounting, advanced tax planning, compliance advice and information technology requirements and solutions. His clients have included many professionals in the medical/dental fields, engineering, organizations, franchise restaurant enterprises, real estate marketing and development, retail and manufacturing operations, and various non-profit societies.

Gordon is married with three grown children and continues to reside in North Vancouver. He has been active in the sporting activities of his children having coached several softball, baseball and soccer teams and was a co-founder of the West Vancouver Girls Softball Association. Gordon is an active member of the Hollyburn Country Club playing tennis and working out. He is also a member of the Capilano Golf and Country Club where he enjoys playing golf as time permits.
