Dave Mitchell received his CA designation in 1988, and was admitted to the KNV partnership in 1991.

Dave’s practice includes involvement with owner/manager and family-owned businesses as well as an extensive number of clients in the public sector and not-for-profit sector, including municipal, first nations and government-funded agencies and societies.

He has given numerous presentations on accounting, income tax, and general business topics to various groups including Boards of Directors, Industry Conferences, and Provincial and local Government.

Dave is currently the Board Chair of the Fraser Health Authority, BC's largest and fastest growing Health Authority serving more that 1.6 million BC residents form Delta to Boston Bar. Fraser Health has an operating budget of $3 Billion dollars and employs more than 26,000 staff.

Married with 3 children, in his spare time Dave enjoys spending time at his family cottage in the interior. His hobbies include boating, water skiing, fishing and reading.

Dave has served in executive and board positions on various community-based clubs and organizations including the following.
