Rob obtained his BBA from Simon Fraser University in 1987 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1990 while articling with KPMG in Vancouver. In 1992 Rob returned home to White Rock and joined KNV as a manager in its general practice area. In 1995 he obtained his C.P.A. (Washington) designation allowing him to better serve those corporations with cross border planning needs and U.S. reporting requirements. In 1996 Rob became a partner of KNV Chartered Accountants and has played a key role in the growth of the firm over the last 10 years.
Rob’s practice is primarily focused on providing audit, accounting and taxation services to medium sized owner managed operations and their shareholders. Rob’s practice has a large concentration of companies that are doing business in both Canada and the United States and face financial reporting and tax planning issues of a cross border nature.
Rob is married with 3 children and is an enthusiastic contributor to a number of community activities, including minor hockey, lacrosse and soccer. In his spare time Rob enjoys spending time with his family and being an active participant in hockey, golf, boating and the general pursuit of recreation.
